Two Assistant Professor Positions |
The Department of Communication at the University of Alaska Fairbanks invites applications for two tenure track Assistant Professor Positions beginning in August 2008. Ph.D. in Communication required, with evidence of effectiveness in teaching, and of ability mentor graduate students and to direct M.A. thesis research. The core teaching responsibility for one position will be in graduate level qualitative/human science research methodologies, and for the other position in graduate and undergraduate level training and development communication. Background and experience also needed in two or more of the following: Interpersonal, Organizational, Health, Intercultural, or Nonverbal Communication; Communication Theory; Diversity/Gender and Communication; Advanced Public Speaking.
