A launch of the newly funded Biomedical Learning and Student Training Program
Learn about a program that will enhance capacity for undergraduate research training and efficacy for engaging students from diverse backgrounds and preparing them for careers in biomedicine and healthcare. The program will involve partners across the state. Talk with principal investigators Barbara Taylor (URSA), Karsten Heuffer (DVMed) and Arleigh Reynolds (DVMed). Light refreshments at 5 pm and a brief presentation at 5:30 pm. Lasts until 6:30.

Are you looking for a career in health? Explore career, funding and education options at the free, third annual Alaska Interior Medical Education Summit (AIMES) at the Margaret Murie Building on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus on Saturday, October 25 from 8 am to 1:30 pm. UAF and the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital will host the summit to help people explore a full range of health careers in allied health, holistic medicine, pharmacy and veterinary medicine.
