Alaska Space Grant Higher-Ed Workshop: Distance-Delivery of Laboratory-Based Science Courses for Students in Alaska
The goal of this workshop is to enhance distance delivery of laboratory-based science courses to undergraduate students in the state of Alaska. Access to laboratory-based science courses is critical for distance students in Alaska who wish to achieve their educational goals at the Associate and Bachelors degree levels.
This workshop will convene science educators from across the UAF campuses in Fairbanks in Fall 2010. Over a two-day period the attendees will have the opportunity to share experiences and identify strategies and resources for development, delivery and improvement of laboratory science courses.
