Dea Huff
Dea Huff is a Ph.D. candidate in the Environmental Chemistry Program. Our research group is focused on studying the fate of nighttime reactive nitrogen’s in high latitude environments. Specifically N2O5, and its heterogeneous reaction on snow and ice surfaces that include aerosols. Measuring N2O5 we use a novel technique developed in our lab, cavity ring-down spectroscopy (CRDS). In probing the reactivity of N2O5 we have successfully deployed the CRDS, aerosol, NOx and ozone instruments into the field in Fairbanks, AK.
