Finding a paper comparing the ¹H NMR of cis- and  trans-carveol is difficult! Here is a paper by Y.-R. Naves reporting the ¹H-NMR spectra of cis- and trans-carveol. Back in the day, ¹H chemical shifts were reported in "t" (tau), where t = 10-d. Thus TMS is at 10 on the t scale, and aldehyde H's show up about 0.2 t. He synthesized the cis-carveol by reducing carvone with LiAlH₄, and trans-carveol using aluminum isopropoxide  (Meerwein-Ponndorf-Verley reduction) to reduce carvone, as others have reported.
