HW:

1. At least three complete references* for your poster topic (one chemistry text book and 2 periodicals). Periodicals can be popular periodicals like Time, Newsweek, Ladies Home Journal etc. or professional periodicals like Journal of the American Medical Association, Science, Nature etc.

2. Structural formula for at least one compound to be highlighted in your poster. (See the Merck Index or search the web)

3. Outline of poster (follow outline specified in poster assignment handout).

4. List of group members. Specify what job each group member will do.

*Format for "complete" references are as follows:

Reference for a book: Book title, Names of Editors, Publisher, City and State of Publisher, year published, page numbers where you found the information.

For example:

Chemistry and Life (5th edition), J.W. Hill, S.J. Baum and D.M. Feigl (Eds.), Prentice Hall, Upper Saddle River, NJ, 1997, pg. 10-15.

Reference for a periodical: Author's names, data, title of article. Name of journal, volume, page numbers.

For example, a pretend reference from a professional periodical:
