HW: identify 3 possible poster topics that interest you;

Use OCLC to search Readers Guide to Abstracts (popular magazines) or Medline (professional journals) See Computer Lab in Lab book for directions and passwords for OCLC. Pubmed is also a way to access Medlilne (for free); OR

Indicate if you want to participate in a panel discussion and your choice of topic And choose one of the following:

  1. Correct all errors on your quiz. Hand in corrections on a separate sheet of paper with your quiz.
  2. Calculate the molecular formulas and molecular weights of morphine and heroin.

Objectives:

  1. Recognize organic compounds in everyday life.
  2. Recognize how models are used to illustrate mental concepts of molecules and atoms. Be able to use molecular model sets to build models of organic compounds.
