Making an appointment
To make an appointment, call the Center at 474-7043 and request a medical or counseling appointment. Medical staff and counselors are on-duty 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. We will try to find a time that fits your schedule if possible. You will be asked to arrive early for your initial appointment to read our Notice of Privacy Practices and complete some paper work.

In emergency or other acute situations, call the Center and say you need immediate assistance. We have Emergency Intake Appointments available every day with our counselors and we have some 'same day' medical appointment times available. We try very hard to see students quickly when they are in distress. If we are simply unable to respond in any way, we will assist students in getting in to see someone in the community immediately.

If you have a life threatening emergency, Call 911 immediately for assistance. The Center for Health and Counseling is not a trauma center and is not equipped to handle life threatening emergencies.

On campus residents who have emergencies during times when we are closed should contact a resident advisor in the residence hall or contact the police at 474-7721 (TTY 474-6200).
