Instructions for 12 Hour Fasting                                    
                 * Please refrain from eating, chewing gum and drinking anything other than                                                     water for 12 hours prior to your blood test.                                    
                 * Please drink 1 or 2 glasses of water before arriving for your blood draw.                                     
                    This will ensure that you are hydrated, which improves the success of the                                             blood drawing process.
