FY11 Budget

Chancellor Rogers
UAF has received modest state funding increases over the last several years covering a portion of salaries, lease payments and utilities. Yet, state funding is only part of UAF’s total budget.  UAF’s earned revenue, in the form of research grants and contracts, tuition, auxiliary enterprises, and private fund raising covers the majority of UAF’s budget.  In recent years, this earned revenue has not kept pace with cost increases in areas critical to campus operations and strategic priorities, making it necessary to look internally at existing resources to reallocate.

It is my goal to keep you informed as we move through the review of our programs and functions. If you have a question, please submit it here. If you provide your name, you'll get a direct response. If not, your question may be included in future communications and/or open forums. Thank you for your participation.
