Alaska Sea Grant
Alaska Sea Grant offers books, videos, online curricula, and many other educational products, along with a variety of workshops, classes and symposia.
Marine Advisory Program
Marine advisory agents in several coastal communities offer information, workshops, and technical assistance to help Alaskans wisely use, conserve, and enjoy Alaska's marine and coastal resources.
National Ocean Sciences Bowl - Alaska Region
The National Ocean Sciences Bowl is a competition for high school students that addresses environmental and earth sciences. The Alaska Tsunami Bowl annual regional competition attracts high schools teams from around the state to win the chance to go to the national competition.
K-12 Educational Resources
CFOS offers and has collected many educational materials and opportunities for teachers and homeschoolers.
Many College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences faculty, staff and students work closely with other organizations, such as the University of Alaska Museum of the North, The Alaska SeaLife Center and the Centers for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence.
