Within Alaska's Health, Home & Family Development program are individual home economists living and working in our districts around the state. Alaska's home economists continue their traditional duties of promoting strong families by delivering skills and training which enhance the quality of life on America's Last Frontier. Two highly popular programs are strength training for women and food safety training for commercial food handlers. Within the state office are the coordinators of Extension's Alaska Nutrition Education Program (ANEP) and Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP).
