Flood Recovery Resources
As floodwaters subside, many residents may have concerns regarding safety and health, septic system usage, cleanup and other general questions on recovery after a flood. Extension’s flood recovery website offers information from a variety of agencies and links to free and inexpensive Extension publications designed to help you prepare for and recover from flooding — everything from an emergency supply checklist to instructions on disinfecting your well and replacing valuable papers.
Below are resources collected from places such as the Centers for Disease Control, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and North Dakota State, Iowa State and Purdue University Extension.
