Experienced food preservers receive 25 hours of in-depth, hands-on training in food preservation in return for 25 hours of volunteer service.

Dial gauges on pressure canners need to be tested for accuracy every year. This free service is offered at the Extension office.

Please call ahead to ensure someone is in to test your guage (745-3360) or you're welcome to drop it off and pick it up at a later date/time.
