University of Alaska's Palmer Center for Sustainable Living was formerly known as the Palmer Research and Extension Center. Several Cooperative Extension Service faculty and staff members work out of the center, giving them closer contact with both the ongoing research and the researchers. Alaskans benefit by receiving the latest information.
