Southeast Alaska Master Gardeners

The Southeast Alaska Master Gardeners are a volunteer arm of the Juneau District Cooperative Extension Service. Our highly esteemed volunteers perform gardening education and outreach activities in our district.

Dates: Feb. 9 - May 3 (Tuesday evenings) 6-9pm
Plus 2 Saturdays: March 19 & April 30, 9-4 pm

Description: A team of University Professors and Local Experts will train you in the areas of; Plant Growth and Development, Soil and Plant Nutrition, Vegetable Gardening, Composting, Flower Gardening, Plant Propagation, Fruit and Berry Crops, Lawn Care, Trees and Shrubs, Green houses, Integrated Pest Management, Community Gardening, Local Marketing and more.

The course is $150.00 which includes materials. An additional $150.00 “deposit” will be refunded when service is completed within a year.
