AK Experience Camp Registration is open!
4-H Alaska Skills & Adventure Camp for youth ages 11-18, June 8-12, at the Eagle River Scout Camp. Come to a 5-day discovery and residential camp! Have fun learning to safely and sustainably enjoy Southeast Alaska’s bounty through ocean, beach and rainforest adventures! $175 (scholarships available) Call or email Susie at 907-523-3280 to register or for more information.
Juneau 4-H Sailing Club
The Juneau District Office invites you to join our new 4-H Sailing Club!
If you're interested call Sarah Lewis at 907-523-3280 x1 to get on the interest list. The Club is limited to 10 youth. Final enrollment will be on "first come," based on the interest list. The first 4-H Sailing Club Family meeting is on Thursday, January 15, 5-6 pm at the UAF Extension Office, 450 Whittier Street, Suite 128.

Accolades for Some of Our Outstanding Volunteers!
Bruce Bowler, Volunteer Leader of the 4-H Shooting Sports Club, was one of twenty finalists for the 2011 Citizen Service Before Self Honors by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.
Diana Stevens, Volunteer Leader of the 4-H Shotokan Karate Club, is a 2011 Woman of Distinction honoree for the AWARE organization (Aiding Women in Abuse and Rape Emergencies).
Ken Coate and Linda Coate, Volunteer Leaders of the 4-H Outdoor Skills Club, have recently been announced as 2010 Volunteer Instructors of the Year with the Alaska Department of Fish & Game Hunter's Information and Training Program.
