Emergency Preparedness

September is National Preparedness Month.  Links to resources from federal agencies can be found on the Extension Disaster Education Network home page; click on Resources and National Preparedness Month.

Our local resource is the Kenai Peninsula Borough Office of Emergency Management.

Extension has a page on emergency prep for Alaskans, and another great source on how to prepare is found from Brookings, SD.
