Services and Resources

Career Services

UAF Career Services provides career counseling, information on graduate schools, a credential file service and job search assistance for students, alumni, staff and faculty. The department administers interest and personality assessments such as the Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. Career center staff will review resumes and cover letters and conduct practice interviews. Career Services maintains eCampus Recruiter, an online recruitment resource for employers, students and alumni. Employment, internship and on-campus job information is available at the center.

On-campus recruiting, coordinated with employers, and annual job fairs, give UAF students and alumni the opportunity to apply for full-time employment and internships with local, statewide and national employers in a variety of fields. At job fairs students and employees can network with employers and explore future career opportunities. UAF Career Services is located on the fifth floor of the Gruening Building. Services are also provided at TVC one day each week. For more information contact us at (907) 474-7596, e-mail careerservices@uaf.edu, or visit online at www.uaf.edu/career/.
