Career Services

UAF Career Services provides free career counseling, interest and personality assessments, career and graduate school literature, and job search assistance for students, alumni, staff and faculty. Career Center staff will critique resumes and cover letters and conduct practice interviews. Center staff maintain job listings and credential files and facilitates the Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The Career Center also operates a distribution list for internships and on-campus job information.

On-campus recruiting coordinated between Career Services and employers, as well as annual job fairs, give UAF students and alumni the opportunity to apply for regular positions and internships with local, statewide and national employers in a variety of fields. At job fairs, prospective employees may also network with employers and explore future career opportunities. The UAF Career Center is in the Gruening Building on the fifth floor.
