Computer Information and Office Systems

Computer Information and Office Systems (CIOS) courses are the courses required by the following: Information Technology Specialist (A.A.S. degree), Office Management and Technology (certificate and A.A.S. degree), and Applied Business, Applied Business Management, Applied Accounting, and Accounting Technician (certificate and A.A.S. degree). CIOS courses also meet the computing skills requirement for the A.A.S. degrees and certificates. CIOS classes may apply to the computer application specialty of the applied business degree.

Keyboarding I/Beginning Typewriting
Basic keyboarding skills with emphasis on correct techniques and development of speed and accuracy. Introduction to centering, typing of personal and business letters, envelopes, simple tables and manuscripts. For those with no previous typing training.
