Specialized Programs

The Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) has selected northern studies as part of the unique or specialized graduate program it coordinates in the western states as the Western Regional Graduate Programs. Residents of Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming who major in northern studies pay resident tuition at UAF.
