LAT 101 (3 Credits) Independent Learning Only
Beginning Latin I (3+0) h
Introduction to ancient Latin language and Roman culture, development of competence through reading original authors with emphasis on vocabulary, recognition and correct use of grammar. Does not satisfy core curriculum requirement.

LAT 102 (3 Credits) Independent Learning Only
Beginning Latin II (3+0) h
Continuation of the introduction to ancient Latin language and Roman culture, development of competence through reading original authors with emphasis on vocabulary, recognition and correct use of grammar. Does not satisfy core curriculum requirement. (Prerequisite: LAT 101.)

LAT 201 (3 Credits) Independent Learning Only
Intermediate Latin I (3+0) h
Continuation of LAT 102. Increasing development of competence through reading original authors with growing emphasis on grammar usage and vocabulary. Does not satisfy core curriculum requirement. (Prerequisite: First year college Latin, or a functional equivalent.)

LAT 202 (3 Credits) Independent Learning Only
Intermediate Latin II (3+0) h
Continuation of LAT 201. Increasing development of competence through reading original authors with growing emphasis on grammar usage and vocabulary. Does not satisfy core curriculum requirement. (Prerequisite: LAT 201 or equivalent.)
