Minimum Requirements for Degrees: 120 credits

Sociology is the study of groups and their influence on personal behavior and culture. It is concerned with social processes that give rise to and shape human language, experience, perception, meaning and behavior.

Undergraduate Program

Major

Sociology -- B.A. or B.S. Degree

1. Complete the general university requirements.
2. Complete the B.A. or B.S. degree requirements (page 29 or 30).
3. Complete the following departmental core requirements:*
