Alaska Sea Grant, under the School of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences and part of the National Sea Grant Program, a division of NOAA, supports the wise use and conservation of Alaska's seas and coasts through research, education, and extension

UA Press publishes and distributes nonfiction works about Alaska, the Pacific Rim, Arctic Canada, Siberia, and Scandinavia.

Marketing and Communications leads the efforts to craft and communicate institutional messages. These include UAF print and electronic publications for student recruiting, general information and internal and external communications, as well as coordination of the chancellor's messages, directives and presentations.
