Constitution Hall

HALL OF HISTORY--In 1955, Alaska's leaders gathered on campus to craft the Alaska Constitution in what's now Constitution Hall. This historic event led to Alaska’s admission into the union as the 49th state. Jan. 3, 2009, will mark the 50th anniversary of statehood for Alaska. Today the hall contains the bookstore, alumni office, post office, the student radio and television stations (KSUA), and other campus offices.
