Payment Plans
In an ongoing effort to improve our services to students, the UAF Business Office is pleased to be partnered with Tuition Management Systems (TMS). Please call 1-800-722-4867 if you have any questions regarding payment plans. Students or parents will be able to enroll in a monthly payment plan and divide their semester expenses into as many as five monthly payments over the duration of the semester. The cost to enroll is $50 per semester. Please be aware that you have to re-enroll each semester you wish to use a payment plan.

Benefits of this new program include the ability to enroll online, increased call center hours, mailed monthly statements, as well as life insurance coverage underwritten by New York Life Insurance Company.

Advance of Funding
(Previously known as Textbook Loan)
::> An Advance of Funding may be available to students with enough certified financial aid available to cover all semester expenses and the requested Advance of Funding. Financial aid must be verified and guaranteed before an advance will be issued.
The following are required to receive an Advance of Funding
1) Textbook list (proceed to checkout to include shipping charges in the advance)
2) $10 fee (due with Advance of Funding form)
3) Verified financial aid (Done in person at the Business Office)
4) Completed and signed Advance of Funding form
An Advance of Funding or Payment Plan requires a formal contract between you and the university. You must be registered for your classes prior to the approval of the contract. Advance of Funding payments are due 30 days after the funds are issued. It is the student's responsibility to ensure payment is made on their account. If the balance of the Advance of Funding is not paid on time a $35 late fee will be assessed.
