The  Alaska Book Festival takes place during the summer in Fairbanks, Alaska and brings together literary artists who represent an array of genres: poetry, natural history, science fiction, history, mystery, photography, cooking and children’s literature.  There is something for everyone!

Many events are held on the UAF campus and the guest artists also make appearances throughout the Fairbanks community.  Topics for the panel discussions are diverse and include content to interest both the writer and the publisher.
