About
The Alaska Book Festival is a celebration of books and all that goes into them. The intent is to bring together readers, authors, educators, poets, artists, publishers, librarians, photographers, reviewers, and editors to celebrate the power of the written word.
The Festival comes together over the course of a year by a diverse committee of individuals representing many different interests but centered in the University of Alaska Fairbanks community. The event itself is meant to reach as broad and diverse an audience as possible.
Events take various forms. Readings, signings, panel discussions, lectures, workshops, cooking events, walks, and concerts have all been avenues that the Book Festival has explored.
Please join us for this celebration of the arts.
