Jurassic Genetics is a two week residential program located at Ilisagvik College in Barrow, AK. Students enrolled in Jurassic Genetics will work in a research lab learning genetics and molecular biology using locally collected samples. Lab work will be informed by local scientists and led by BioPREP technical staff. Students will earn a college scholarship for their full participation in Jurassic Genetics activities. Jurassic Genetics also offers students the chance to experience cultural opportunities only found in Alaska's North Slope.
