Alaska BioPREP will be traveling to several locations throughout the state this spring to put on some science open houses and mini teacher trainings! Stay tuned for dates and locations.

Students: Come meet us at the open house and participate in hands-on science activities. You can also find out more about our summer programs, potential local jobs and internships, and research opportunities!

Teachers: Come to our one-day mini teacher training. You will be introduced to molecular biology/biotech lab skills and biotech kits you can use in your classrooms. Participating teachers will leave the training with a hands-on lesson to try in their classrooms. Liked what you saw in the mini lesson? Consider coming to our week-long summer teacher workshop (TIPS) and receive in-depth biotech training , classroom applications and receive BioPREP support and scholarships to outfit your high school biology lab with biotech equipment and supplies!
