What is Nanook Navigator?

Nanook Navigator (Navigate Student) is a suite of interconnected tools to support students from enrollment to graduation and life-long success.  Nanook Navigator, includes two valuable products – a mobile app and an advising platform– to keep students on academic track, connected to their advisors and campus resources, and making progress toward graduation.

This mobile app for students, streamlines the UAF experience through ways to get involved, upcoming registration and other important deadlines and personalized “to-dos”. Students can connect with university resources through their network and access a comprehensive directory of student services. Nanook Navigator is the best way for faculty, advisors, and student support staff to communicate with one another about the progress, concerns, and the unique needs of each student.

The Navigate Student Mobile app allows you to find the information you need all in one place. Download the Student Quick Guide here.

Students are individually responsible for meeting all academic regulations and degree/certificate requirements. Students must submit an Application for Graduation during, or before, the semester they intend to graduate. See deadlines.

Application for Graduation (online)
Requires UAF login. Use Firefox or other non-Microsoft browsers for best results.

There is a $50 fee associated with each application

Late applications are accepted up to one month after initial deadline with an additional $30 late fee.

Applications will be canceled for all students who are unable to meet their graduation requirements by the end of the semester. Students must reapply for graduation for the semester they intend to graduate.

If all graduation requirements are completed by the end of the semester, the certificate/degree will be awarded within six weeks after final grades have posted. Diplomas will be sent out approximately six weeks after the end of the semester.

Once your degree is posted you can view it on your unofficial transcript on UAOnline.
