ASRA needs your Help!

We cannot do this alone. ASRA tuition covers only half of the cost of running the program, and your support is vital to the survival of ASRA. You can help us continue to provide this quality experience to students by making a contribution as outlined below.

If one compares ASRA to similar programs in the lower 48 states, these facts stand out:

1. ASRA is half the cost of similar programs (most programs of this caliber are $2000 per 2 weeks or more)

2. ASRA provides 2 instructors for every 8 students. Similar programs have one instructor for 15 or more students.

3. Each ASRA module typically is taught by one PhD Faculty or Professional instructor. Many similar programs are taught by graduate and undergraduate students.

It is rare to find a program with such high instructor to student ratios, and it does make ASRA more costly than similar programs. Yet, we want to keep the price within reach of as many families as possible. We can only do that with your help.

If you would like to help, there are several ways you can offer a gift to ASRA.

Mail a check:

You can send a check, made out to "Alaska Summer Research Academy" and mail it directly to ASRA at the following address:

Alaska Summer Research Academy
College of Natural Science and Mathematics
PO Box 755940

Donate online:

It is possible to make a gift to ASRA online through the UAF Development Office.
