The electron density of the ionosphere at an altitude of less than 65km is not described in the IRI model, which is an international standard model of electron density. Our objective is to measure the electron density of the lower ionosphere using the radio receiver. In the SRP-4 experiment, measuring the propagation profile of MF-band waves using the radio receiver was a success. The result of SRP-4 experiment indicated that the electron existed from the altitude of 50km and electron density was increased at the altitude of 76km. This profile is different from the IRI model. In this SRP-5 mission, for further investigation a high-fidelity receiver that can measure the propagation profile of MF-band waves up to their perfect reflection altitudes shall be employed
