Fellowships - UAS Fellowships Program
Awarded to students participating in the Juneau Icefield Research Program to partially offset tuition. These students use GPS and remote sensing imagery to map transient snow lines and glacier movement. They also use portable meteorological stations to carry out mass balance and energy balance surveys for modeling snowmelt in response to weather conditions.
