ASB Business Leader of the Year

The Business Leader of the Year banquet is the biggest ASB event of the year, and it is a time-honored tradition. ASB has been honoring community leaders since 1977. The banquet presents an excellent networking opportunity for between the students, UAF alumni, and the business community. Preparation for the banquet enables students to develop organization, time-management, and leadership skills.

It is indeed an honor for a community leader to receive the ASB Business Leader of the Year Award. Past recipients include notable dignitaries such as Joseph Usibelli Sr., Ralph Seekins, Cpt. Jim Binkley, Senator Gary Wilken, and Mayor Rhonda Boyles. The award recipient is nominated by his/her peers, and is selected by ASB members on merits of business achievements, community service, and educational support.
