The Guidebook to Permafrost and Quaternary Geology: Richardson and Glenn Highways, Alaska, from T.L. Pewe and R.D. Reger was used as a guide travelling down the Richardson Highway. In addition participants were given a packet of supplemental materials including quads for each area travelled through, edited to include the field trip stops, along with other informational pamphlets.
