Visitor Information
Transportation to Chena River Convention Center
The Chena River Convention Center is located in downtown Fairbanks, approximately 4 miles from the UAF campus. If you are lodging on the UAF campus, a variety of transportation options are available.Conference Bus
The conference will provide transportation via a 33-passenger bus according to the following schedule. The bus will depart the UAF campus from the Moore-Bartlett Skarland (MBS) complex. A second bus will be run only if the first bus is full.

Public Transportation
The Red Line bus departs the Wood Center every 30-60 minutes beginning at 7:15 AM. Travel time to the Chena River Convention Center is approximately 25 minutes. Fare is $1.50 one-way.
Taxi
Several taxi companies provide service to downtown Fairbanks. Phone numbers can be found near the phones in the lobby of the MBS complex.
Private Vehicle
From the UAF campus, follow College Rd. to Old Steese Hwy. Turn right, travel approximately one quarter mile and cross the Chena River. The Chena River Convention Center is located on your left immediately across the river. Ample parking is available.
