Proceedings

Presenters may submit papers for inclusion in a proceedings volume, to be published in the ANLC Working Papers series. A style guide for the proceedings volume can be found below.

A limited number of copies of the proceedings of the 2001 conference are still available and may be ordered from ANLC.


Style Guide
Athabascan Languages Conference 2002

Deadline: Papers to Gary Holton by September 1, 2002. Please send your file to Gary at Gary.Holton@uaf.edu as an attachment, but also provide a paper copy and a disc with the file on it. Paper copies and discs are to be mailed to:

Please provide a Word file OR a text file for your paper. If you have graphics in the paper, make sure they are black and white (no million-color graphics!)

Following are basic style guidelines. If you have questions about fine points of style, write Gary, or Siri at siri.tuttle@tu-berlin.de, siritus@yahoo.com.

Page limit is 15 pages, single-spaced. The working papers will not be reduced, so there is no need to add extra space or make the font size large.

Font: 12 pt Times for text and subheadings
Margins: 1" left, right, top; 1.5" bottom
Numbering: leave pages unnumbered but pencil in number on back of page.

Headings: Title (bold and centered 14 point)

skip a line Name (centere) skip a line Affiliation (centered) Abstract: none

Subheadings should be flush left. Subheading 1 bold, subheading 2 italic, subheading 3 same as normal text. Please don't go below subheading 3!

Use footnotes, not endnotes.
