Welcome to the web site for both events. This year the Athabaskan Language Conference is being hosted/sponsored by Kyah Wiget Education Society (Moricetown BC), the Department of Linguistics, University of Washington (Seattle WA), and by First Nations Studies, University of Northern British Columbia (Prince George BC). A special event this year is the Workshop on Athabaskan Prosody, a major portion of the funding of which is being provided by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) of Canada.
