|Title||Issues in Tanacross Orthography (incorporating latest modifications)|
|Description:||Ts. dated June 1982, based on work with Alice Brean in April, 1982, 15 pp. Describes new modifications of the practical orthography with extensive discussion of certain phonological issues.|
|Comments||Orthography to accommodate Tanacross 5-vowel system, represent initial glottal stop, syllable initial semivoiced fricatives, final y and n, and syllable-final h, thus creating an orthography closer to other Athabaskan and not so closely based on Upper Tanana pratical orthography.
Three copies in folder, one with ms. comments of Mike Krauss on draft of paper.
