Description:

Radloff's German-Tanaina dictionary, pp. 1-33 ca. 1,300 German headings, careful pulication of Davydov, Lisianski, Rezanov, anonymous in Kruzenshtern, Wrangell, and new material from Peter Doroschin. Edited and published after Radloff's death (1865) by Schiefner, who added a foreword (10 pp.). Includes also comparative material from other Alaskan Athabaskan languages and Eyak: Ahtna (Doroschin, Wrangell), Ingalik and Koyukon (Zagoskin), Tanacross (Wrangell), Eyak (Rezanov and Wrangell), Tlingit (Veniaminov).
