Tsimshian internal relations reconsidered (Part I).
|Typescript. Reviews history of Tsimshian language classification from Boas to present; reclassifies Tsimshian languages as Nass-Gitksan, Coast Tsimshian, and Southern (sgt.mx) Tsimshian, the latter that of speakers originally from Port Simpson, removed to Metlakatla, returned to Hartley Bay; the language almost extinct there, but spoken at Klemtu. Includes bibliography and map. 8 pp.|
