A dictionary and a grammar of the Sm'algyax language of the Coast Tsimshian people, first published in 1978 and 1979 by the National Museums of Canada and the Canadian Museum of Civilization. The dictionary includes a transcription, morphological information, English glosses, and phonetic transcriptions for each word. The reference grammar is a nontechnical introduction to phonology, morphology, and syntax, with summaries showing basic sentence types and their grammatical relationships. The grammar contains no index.
