|Description:||"An Early Nineteenth Century Prophet Among the Gitksan"
"I want now to show that Spier was indeed correct and that
there was at least one pre-Bini prophetic movement among the
Gitksan of the Upper Skeena. Our prophet's name was yaqa siitee. He was a Gitksan who lived in the village of Kisgegas,
located on the Babine River a few miles above its confluence
with the Skeena."
