Title [The First Annual Southeast Alaska Native Cultural Festival]
Description:
The First Annual Southeast Alaska Native Cultural Festival
"The First Annual Southeast Alaska Native Cultural Festival is sponsored by Shee Atika, Inc. and the Sitka Community
Association. We feel the activities we have scheduled reflect the vitality of Native traditions in our region. We have invited a broad spectrum of tradition bearers: writers, visual artists, tribal elders, film makers, silver smiths and basket weavers. Our purpose is to bring people together
annually as a cultural exchange and to support artistic development. The Cultural Festival program is briefly noted below."
