This is the first cataloged Kwareceius record. I chose 1987 as a starting point based on the fact that this is the earliest date I find for Joe in the bibliography of the KAD. It can be changed later if necessary.
I attached the [master] tape to the folder for now. At some point it needs to be determined if the tape goes in the archives or to the publications department. Rose Speranza.

Information about numbers and the Koyukon counting system. Elicited from Johnson Moses, recorded and reported by Joe Kwaraceius. This was probably prepared for a Koyukon textbook. There is a signed release from Johnson Moses for the tape. The restriction reads: "Contact Johnson if material is used in a book or any other published form (such as videotape, radio shows, etc.). Use for Koyukon dictionary is permitted and use in classroom is permitted. 4 November 99. I left a photocopy of the release in the file and moved the original to the donor files. Check with Eliza Jones, Susan Paskvan or somebody if Moses is still living; if not, who might be his authorized representative. Rose Speranza, June 7, 08.

The notes seem to have been written in preparation for publication of the Koyukon Athabaskan Dictionary [Jette and Jones, 2000].
