A bit about me:
I'm an artistic, creative and dedicated person. I may act quiet and reserved at times, but in all honesty I'm a clumsy dork who loves to laugh and help out however I can.
Why did you choose to attend UAF?
I chose UAF because it had a very strong program for my major. It was also far enough from home to feel like an adventure.
What do you like best about UAF?
I like how UAF fosters a strong sense of community. The people are friendly and unique.
What do you like to do in your spare time? What extracurricular activities are you a part of?
I play guitar, write stories and draw in my spare time. I am part of the Nanook Pep Band as well. Whenever I can, I love to run and jam to my music.
What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in UAF?
Bring underarmor for your legs, and be open to new experiences, because UAF is full of surprises.
What "field work" have you done at UAF that will help you find work in your major?
I assisted in the Plant Pathology Lab over the summer, helping with a project to protect potato crops against disease.
What do you hope to do after you graduate?
I hope to work in Fish and Game. Currently I'm unsure exactly where and what, but any opportunty there is a good opportunity.
If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would it be?
Ireland or Spain
