Why did you choose to attend UAF?
I was offered a scholarship, and it was the farthest university within Alaska from home.
What do you like best about UAF?
The people here are super friendly.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Quilt, read blogs, plan activities for Alpha Phi Omega and the Sociology Club.
What extracurricular activities are you a part of?
Alpha Phi Omega, Sociology Club and Nanook Pep band.
What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in UAF?
Take a variety of classes with all the sociology professors to diversify your knowledge and understand how many topics sociology really covers throughout the world.
What "field work" have you done at UAF that will help you find work in your major?
None yet, but I’m looking into doing some research in rural development.
What do you hope to do after you graduate?
At the moment, my plan is to attend nursing school.
Anything you'd like to add about yourself?
I love water – drinking it, swimming, ice skating, kayaking, and I want to go on a cruise and go scuba diving.
