Why did you choose to attend UAF?

UAF was economically sensible, offered a major I wanted to pursue, and was not in a super warm climate.

What do you like best about UAF?

The people. Professors are great, classmates are amusing, the campus vibe is a pretty unique and happy one.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Homework. :) Hiking, camping, pretty much anything outside, frolicking is also a favorite pasttime as well as napping on mountains.

What extracurricular activities are you a part of?

Association of Engineering and Environmental Geologists, intramural sports, UAF Curling Club

What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in UAF?

Don't be afraid to get out there, get busy and be wrong from time to time!

What "field work" have you done at UAF that will help you find work in your major?

Currently working on research project for professor, found geology exploration job through the GE/Mining department, interview skills through career services.

What do you hope to do after you graduate?

Upon graduation, I want to read non-geo engineering books, coach little league, quit my homework habit, and hopefully get a job working with either erosion engineering or mine tailings facility engineering
