What do you like to do in your spare time?

I enjoy hiking, skiing, rock and ice climbing and generally enjoying the great outdoors.

Why did you choose to attend UAF?

What better place to study wildlife biology! Small class sizes, great professors, and so many opportunities to do great things! The people, the town, the campus; everything is comfortable and fun!

What do you like best about UAF?

The people and the setting. Great country and great friends. What more could one want?

What extracurricular activities are you a part of?

I am a member of the Student Chapter of the Wildlife Society. Otherwise, you can find me out and about in interior Alaska.

What is one piece of advice you would give to a prospective student interested in wildlife biology at UAF?

Get involved and meet our awesome professors! They are world class, and can really get you ahead in your field. Talk to them, join student organizations, and get out there and have fun!

What "field work" have you done at UAF that will help you find work in your major?

I was fortunate enough to get an awesome internship which gave me great experience. A lot of our classes go out in the field, and that's the coolest.

What do you hope to do after you graduate?

Graduate School of course! I'd like to research circumpolar wildlife issues.

Anything you'd like to add about yourself?

I'm always willing to answer your questions about UAF or Fairbanks in general! I'd like to hear from you!
